Privacy notice

Who we are

Akkrev is operated by Akkrev Technologies OÜ, a private limited company registered in the Estonian Business Register under registry code 17519031, with its registered address at Ahtri tn 12, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia ("Akkrev", "we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice. Contact us about privacy at hello@akkrev.com.

What we collect

• Free AI check and contact requests: your name, work email, hotel name and hotel website, your phone number if you choose to give it, and anything you choose to write to us.
• Calls you book: the details you give our booking provider, such as name, email and the time you pick.
• Technical data: our hosting provider processes IP addresses and basic request logs to deliver and secure the site. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

• To run the free AI check you asked for and contact you by email, or by phone if you gave us a number: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
• To deliver services under a contract with your business: performance of a contract.
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam: our legitimate interests.
• To send occasional follow-ups about our services to business contacts: our legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time by replying or emailing us.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors who act on our instructions: our website host (Cloudflare), our email provider, and our call-booking provider. We do not sell personal data. Some providers may process data outside the UK or EEA; where they do, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses (including the UK addendum).

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact, and client records for as long as the law requires (7 years for accounting records under Estonian law). We then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email hello@akkrev.com and we will reply within one month.

You can complain to our lead supervisory authority, the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee). If you are in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), and in the EU to your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to fix things first.
